Hi Kelly-
On Saturday, I drove my mother in law's Forrester in an "quick" run to Lowe's. I left 6 roofers at the house (I went to pick up drip edge for the roof and was holding up their progress) and the baby with Jim. In my haste, I grabbed the spare key for the car only to realize as I was trying to turn the car on for my return trip, that the security system would not allow the engine to turn over. With horn blaring in the background, I phoned the 24 hour service number to Subaru..they put my through to your dealer, but the service department was closed, I spoke with Dave Orders. After I told Dave of my predicament, he did not hesitate in sharing the Subaru secret to using the spare key. I was quickly on my way.
I want to commend Dave on his customer service (I was a bit frantic, to say the least), keeping calm when I was not. But I also want to say I appreciate that Dave knows his vehicles- he is obviously not just someone trying to sell cars, but has vested interest in them and his (or perhaps not) clients.
Thanks for letting me share this with you- I know it's the fall, but we haven't seen each other in ages! Give Christi a hug for me.
Niki
